Since 1956 Dragées Reynaud has been an artisanal company of 20 employees, all committed and passionate about the love of our excellent products. We are constantly improving our manufacturing and packaging processes in order to meet the changing expectations of our consumers by combining economic efficiency, environmental preservation and territorial anchoring. In the center of Provence, we are committed to respecting sustainable development and environment. By protecting and respecting the planet we will always be able to benefit from premium raw materials (almonds, sugar and cocoa).
This is why we voluntarily engage in a Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) approach within our Company. Our areas of commitment are based on the principles of the ISO 26000 standard, the first international standard in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Acting for the environment
The environment and resource consumption have always been at the heart of our concerns.
We challenged ourselves to improve our packaging in order to reduce its environmental impact.
We have implemented the first responsible areas such as relevant choices of :
- Select recycled and/or recyclable raw materials for our packaging
- Optimize our packaging in order to remove unnecessary packaging or resize it to avoid empty spaces
- Promote bulk sales in recycled boxes as much as possible
- Reduce our energy consumption (LED, reduction and elimination of unnecessary lighting, etc.)
- Recover our food waste by composting all our raw materials
- Recycle bins
Tomorrow, we want to go even further by replacing some materials or reducing their use.
Prioritize local development
We favor local service providers and suppliers through our purchases of raw materials (French sugar, the 1st ingredient that we use for our artisanal recipes) and services (maintenance of our premises and our production tool, local communication agency, etc…)
We also participate in local community life as a sponsor, in particular with the Trail La Galinette or the Full Moon Trail in the Bouches du Rhône, the French Dance Championship in Marseille, local fairs, etc.
Promote well-being and fulfillment at work
Health, safety and professional development of our employees are of great importance to Dragées Reynaud. We are very grateful to them for guaranteeing our success and our craftsmanship, which has been rewarded by the EPV (Entreprise Patrimoine Vivant) label.
We are also investing in modern production tools allowing better ergonomics of our workstations with gains in productivity.
We are convinced that together we are stronger to face our challenges of tomorrow !
Transmitting the passion for taste to our customers
We want to be transparent with our consumers in order to offer confectionery that preserves qualities taste. Making excellent sugared almonds and chocolate specialties require time and real know-how. We take the time to roast our nuts and coat them delicately while respecting our history and our expertise in traditional gestures.
Our objective is the production of artisanal sweets in “Clean Label” :
- Use of fruit and vegetable concentrates to color products, whenever possible
- Most minimalist ingredient lists
- Premium ingredients for some of them AOP, AOC (Almonds from Provence, Nougat Cream from Montélimar, Salted Butter Caramel with Isigny butter, AOC Honey from Provence, etc.)
